Our 2024-25 A Cappella group is by invitation, and all singers must also be registered singers in Harmonia.
Our Artistic Director Mrs. Pinto will contact families whose singers are invited to join this group.
A Cappella is a mixed-voice, auditioned ensemble for our most skilled singers, offering our Harmonia singers an additional opportunity to explore more advanced repertoire. A Cappella rehearses once a week for 30 minutes, and singers will have a chance to sing in several performances over the course of the season. Singers in A Cappella possess a mature tone, excellent intonation, solid music reading and fundamental sight-singing skills, and at least a beginning knowledge of music theory. They are able to sing independently in three or more parts and are expected to be independent learners.
